Description
Special Day Trip: Lam Hat Beach & Elephant Experience (Program D)
Experience the pristine beauty of Krabi’s sea combined with an unforgettable experience with Thailand’s national animal in a one-day trip that includes relaxing on the white sandy beach and learning about elephants in a responsible and sustainable way.
Itinerary
Part 1: The Charm of Lam Haad Beach
Start your day with a trip to Lam Haad Beach, part of Krabi’s famous Koh Hong tour route. Lam Haad Beach is known for:
Privacy and tranquility: This small beach is usually less crowded, allowing you to relax and unwind.
Clear water: Perfect for swimming, kayaking or just strolling along the beach.
Beautiful scenery: Surrounded by limestone mountains and lush greenery, you can soak up the pristine atmosphere and take lots of photos.
At Lam Haad Beach, you will have time to sunbathe, swim, relax on the beach or even explore the surrounding area to experience its hidden beauty.
Part 2: Elephant Experience (Program D)
After enjoying the beauty of the sea, the afternoon will take you to the world of elephants at the Elephant Sanctuary. Program D is usually designed to provide tourists with an up-close and ethical experience of elephants, without the need to control or ride them. These activities may include:
Learn and understand elephants: The caretaker will provide knowledge about the history, behavior, and importance of elephant conservation in Thailand.
Prepare food for elephants: You will participate in preparing food that the elephants love, such as bananas, sugarcane, or fruits.
Feed elephants: Experience the unique experience of feeding elephants with your own hands, which is a lovely and heartwarming moment.
Observe elephant behavior: Follow the elephants' footsteps in a natural area, observing their daily behavior in a natural environment as close to nature as possible, such as eating, playing, or taking a mud bath.
Join the elephant bath (if available): Some programs may have a special activity where you can bathe the elephants in a mud pond or natural water source, which is another activity that elephants love and helps them feel relaxed.
This program D emphasizes gentle and respectful interaction with elephants to promote sustainable elephant care and raise awareness of the importance of wildlife conservation.
